10 days is too long!

Okay folks, it's time I write something. It's been 10 days since Chris posted, and I really have been slacking, haven't I?

I wonder if anyone actually READS our blog sometimes... (LOL)

Anyhow - an update:

We will be leaving for a trip to Oregon (with a small side trip to San Francisco) on July 19th. We will not be returning until the wee hours of the morning on July 28th. Due to this, we WILL be raising our store minimum quite high, and I fully expect a slew of e-mails to my CrackBerry (er, Blackberry) asking me "why is your minimum so high?" - but, that's fine, I'll happily respond to all my new and not so new (but very loved) customers.

Make sure to read the splash page for the minimum order bypass code, please. We'll be processing again sometime towards the 30th, most likely.

IN OTHER IMPORTANT NEWS Chris, the I refer to as "the best packer of parts in the world", will be having surgery on her shoulder on August 21st. This will mean that I will be in charge of ALL the things that Chris does during the day PLUS all my duties (which includes a day job) - so, look for updates between now and then but we'll probably move our minimum up and allow people to place small (any $ amount with a bypass code) orders in the realm of 10 lots or less due to my limited time for working...but, if we have something you can't live without I want to make sure that you get your parts, people!

I hate it when I find a store that has ONE THING I need for say, $1.00, and their minimum is $20 - and it's like, "but all I want is THIS ONE THING!" :::sigh::: I do not have a problem with filling one or two lot tiny orders...just write and ask - it's the 3+ tiny lot orders for under a dollar or so that take a lot of extra time, thus the $5 minimum (but that's nowhere near $20, now is it? Surely in our huge collection of awesome bits you can find $5 of items you just can't live without, can't you? I know I can! :-D )

Anyway...I hope everyone out there is doing great, and I hope to get to meet some of you at the BrickWorld next year as well.

Oh, and we'll be in the Portland area, so if anyone is out there reading this that would like to meet us let us know and we'll see what we can schedule!

Best to all,

Tracy
